Welcome to Capital Wedding Collective (CWC). When you use our platform, you are agreeing to these Terms of Service (“Terms”). Violation of these terms may result in the termination of your account.

We may update these Terms of Service at any time. If we make significant changes, we will refresh the date at the top of this page and notify users who have opted into our communications.

• “Company”, “we”, “our”, or “us” refers to Capital Wedding Collective (CWC).
• “Services” refers to our website (capitalweddingcollective.com) and any related tools, directories, or platforms provided by us.
• “User”, “you”, or “your” refers to anyone using our Services, including both engaged couples/individuals (“Couples”) and wedding professionals listing their businesses (“Vendors”).

Capital Wedding Collective is a premier directory and planning platform serving the Washington D.C., Maryland, and Virginia (DMV) area. We are an information platform, not a party to any contract or transaction between Couples and Vendors.

• We do not endorse, guarantee, or warrant the quality, safety, or legality of any Vendor's services, nor the ability of Couples to pay for them.
• Any disputes regarding wedding services, contracts, payments, or performance are strictly between the Couple and the Vendor. You agree that CWC is not liable for any damages, losses, or ruined events resulting from these interactions.

• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password. CWC is not liable for any loss or damage from your failure to comply with this security obligation.
• Vendors must provide accurate, up-to-date information regarding their business, licensing, and insurance as required by local DMV jurisdictions.
• You are responsible for all content posted and activity that occurs under your account.

• Promotional Periods & Future Fees: Capital Wedding Collective may currently offer certain Services, directories, or basic accounts for free. We reserve the right to introduce fees for any part of our Services—for both Couples and Vendors—at any time. If we do so, we will provide you with at least 30 days' advance notice.
• Billing & Taxes: Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis. All fees are exclusive of local, state, or federal taxes (including DC, MD, and VA sales taxes). You are responsible for all applicable taxes.
• Upgrades/Downgrades: If you upgrade your plan to an eligible plan, you will be charged the prorated difference immediately. Downgrades will take effect at the start of your next billing cycle.
• Non-Payment: If a subscription payment fails, your premium access or listing may be temporarily frozen or downgraded until payment is resolved.
• Discount Eligibility: Any discounts, perks, or promotions offered by CWC Vendors to Couples are strictly contingent upon the Couple maintaining an active, paid CWC membership. Vendors reserve the right to verify your active status and may void any applied discounts if your membership is canceled prior to the completion of your wedding services.

• Account Cancellation: You are solely responsible for properly canceling your account, which can be done at any time via your account settings dashboard.
• Data Deletion: Upon cancellation, your profile and content will be removed from the public directory immediately. For technical and security reasons, it may take up to 60 days for your data to be permanently deleted from our encrypted system backups and logs.
• Strict No-Refund Policy: All purchases and subscription payments are final and non-refundable. We do not prorate unused time. If you cancel before the end of your current paid billing cycle, your cancellation will take effect at the end of that period, and you will retain access until that time.
• Right to Terminate: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and refuse any current or future use of our Services for any reason, at any time. This includes, but is not limited to, instances of fraudulent activity, fake reviews, abuse of discount codes, or abusive behavior toward CWC staff, vendors, or other users.

• Your Content: All materials (photos, videos, reviews, pricing) you submit remain yours. By uploading content to CWC, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, display, and distribute this content to promote your business and the CWC platform.
• Copyright Compliance: All content posted must comply with U.S. copyright law. Vendors must hold the rights to any portfolio images or videos uploaded. We reserve the right to remove content alleged to be infringing upon another party's copyright.
• Our Intellectual Property: CWC owns all right, title, and interest in the Services, including all design, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and branding. You may not duplicate, copy, or reuse any portion of our visual design elements without our express written permission.

• "As Is" Basis: Your use of the Services is at your sole risk. We provide these Services on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
• Security: We take reasonable measures to protect your data through backups and encryption. However, no system is entirely impenetrable.
• Privacy: Your privacy is incredibly important to us. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for detailed information on how we collect, use, and protect your data.

You expressly understand and agree that Capital Wedding Collective shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages—including but not limited to damages for loss of profits, goodwill, use, data, or other intangible losses—resulting from the use of or inability to use the Service.
